About Us
Soverion Global Technology Foundation was born out of a vision to create equal opportunities for South African youth and has grown to serve communities worldwide. Our journey began on South Africa’s South Coast, where our founder worked alongside philanthropist Anton Hendriksz and local leaders—building soccer fields, forming community councils, and nurturing young entrepreneurs. These early experiences taught us that when communities set the agenda and young people gain real opportunities, true transformation follows.
Today, our team includes educators, technologists, and community advocates who believe technology is not just a career path—it’s essential to learning in every discipline. We work hand-in-hand with local communities, schools, and global partners to ensure no child is left behind in the digital revolution.

Our Mission
To empower youth worldwide by bridging the digital divide through accessible, inclusive, and transformative technology education. We provide tools, training, and mentorship to cultivate curiosity, creativity, and confidence, helping the next generation become innovators and leaders.

Our Vision
We envision a future where every child—regardless of background—has the opportunity to become a creator, innovator, and leader in the digital age. By fostering cultures of learning, equity, and technological empowerment, we aim to nurture generations that drive progress, uplift communities, and shape a brighter, more inclusive world.

What We Do

Our Values

Dignity & Equity
Every learner deserves access, respect, and the agency to shape their own future—regardless of background, income, or location. We design for the learners furthest from opportunity first.

Community First
Real change starts when communities set the agenda. We work alongside local leaders, schools, and families rather than for them, so the solutions we build belong to the people they serve.

Curiosity to Competency
We meet students where their curiosity begins and walk with them toward real, marketable skill. Wonder becomes capability; capability becomes opportunity.

Global by Design
Built to cross borders from day one. Our chapters adapt to local needs while connecting learners to a worldwide network of mentors, peers, and tech opportunities.

Ubuntu in Action
Guided by the principle "I am because we are," we believe no one rises alone. Every device, mentor, and milestone is shared progress—lifting whole communities, not just individuals.

Focus Country

Colorado’s thriving tech economy demands a skilled workforce, yet rural communities and underrepresented groups face persistent digital-access gaps. With broadband coverage lower in rural areas and mobile-only internet common, technical education must focus on inclusive, flexible solutions. Programs that deliver coding, IT support, and advanced digital skills through mobile-first platforms, community hubs, and reskilling initiatives will ensure all Coloradans can participate in the state’s growing technology-driven opportunities.

South Africa’s growing digital economy faces a critical skills gap, with unemployment exceeding 30% and rural communities lacking reliable connectivity. While literacy rates are high, access to advanced technical training remains uneven. Scalable programs that deliver coding, IT support, and digital skills through mobile-first platforms, community tech hubs, and targeted youth initiatives are essential to empower South Africans for technology-driven careers and inclusive economic growth.

Nepal faces a growing need for accessible technical education. With a population of nearly 30 million, moderate literacy rates, and unemployment above 10%, affordable digital skills training is essential to create pathways into technology-driven careers. Programs should focus on foundational computing, coding, and vocational IT skills, while addressing gender gaps and rural connectivity challenges through community-based and mobile-first learning models.

Brazil is Latin America’s largest tech hub, attracting significant investment in fintech, e-commerce, and AI innovation. With a strong talent pool and a rapidly expanding startup ecosystem, the country offers immense opportunities for scalable digital solutions. Strategic technical education programs focused on coding, cloud technologies, and data analytics will empower Brazil’s workforce to meet growing demand and sustain its position as a regional leader in technology-driven growth.
